Watch: Wild Turkeys Terrorize UPS Driver in Connecticut

By Tim Binnall

An amusing viral video from Connecticut shows the moment when a UPS driver was forced to frantically flee a pair of wild turkeys that terrorized him on his route. The strange scene was reportedly filmed late last week in the community of Branford when resident Hindy Jaffee heard a commotion in the street outside her home. "I thought I heard the neighbors fighting," she recalled, "so I went to look out the window and realized it was the delivery driver fighting with the turkeys."

In Jaffee's video of the showdown, the unnamed UPS worker can be seen dashing into his truck past the waiting turkeys before exclaiming, "I'm 40 years old, I can't be dealing with this." The delivery driver then hastily exits the vehicle again to leave another package at a home in the neighborhood, running down the road with the bellicose birds in hot pursuit. According to Jaffee, the wild turkeys are known to be a nuisance in the area, but "I have never seen them chase a person; it was hilarious." As of now, the driver has yet to come forward in response to starring in the viral video, which has garnered national attention thanks to his exasperated response to the situation.
