A remarkably clear video of a UFO over New York City's Laguardia Airport has gone viral as the witness who captured the footage has come forward to share her story. The tantalizing scene caused something of a stir in UFO research circles when it first appeared online last month and found new life this week when NewsNation's Ashleigh Banfield spoke to Michelle Reyes about filming the strange cylindrical object object as she was flying out of NYC with her daughter in late March. "When I realized that I had something like this on video, the first thing I did was email the FAA," she explained, as "maybe it was a safety hazard."
Despite the fantastic nature of the footage, Reyes indicated that she received no response from the FAA, which led her to contact the UFO reporting group Enigma Labs. Intriguingly, after posting her video on Facebook, another passenger on the plane reached out and revealed that "she had noticed it when she was in the air too." While one might think having a second witness to the weird object would provide some level of reassurance, Reyes mused that "it was a little more nerve-wracking that someone also saw what I saw." Although Reyes' footage was seemingly dismissed by the authorities, the video has subsequently spread like wildfire since her NewsNation appearance this week with media outlets around the world sharing the head-scratching scene.
