Eagle-eyed television viewers in Denmark were left stunned when a woman seemingly vanished during a live interview.
As a sports program was talking with Denmark's head coach for their women's handball team at an airport, a pair of travelers appear to cross paths behind him.
But in an instant, one of the women simply disappears from the scene, leaving a void where she had once been.
While we wish that this was truly a supernatural occurrence inadvertently caught on film, observant viewers of the clip have suggested a more prosaic explanation.
A careful viewing of the video shows a slight wisp of the woman's hair behind her counterpart and a tiny speck of her reflection on the floor.
Therefore it appears that her 'vanishing' was merely an optical illusion created when the woman changed directions at just the right moment and it looked like she had disappeared.
A proverbial trick of light and shadows, the video does prove one thing: you don't need a hoaxer to pull off an amazing but unreal paranormal video.
