West Virginia Man Arrested for Calling 911 About Zombies, Ghosts, and a UFO

A West Virginia man is in trouble with the law after a bizarre incident in which he bombarded 911 with calls about zombies, ghosts, and a UFO at his home. The strange incident reportedly occurred on Sunday in the community of Elkins when Clinton Nelan phoned emergency dispatchers with his peculiar paranormal concerns. While speaking with responding officers, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release about the bizarre bust, "the man made several false claims, including that he was being harassed by numerous individuals and that he was a police officer from Louisiana."

When cops checked on Nelan's assertion, they quickly determined that he does not work in Louisiana law enforcement. Additionally, as one undoubtedly surmised, there was also no sign of zombies or ghosts in or around his residence, and the sky was bereft of UFOs. As such, police concluded that the man had fabricated the fanciful claims for reasons yet to be determined. Nelan was subsequently arrested for impersonating law enforcement and misuse of a local emergency telephone system.
