An evening of fun with fireworks took a terrifying turn for a pair of Wisconsin teenagers when they spotted what appeared to be a Sasquatch slowly approaching them. The unsettling incident occurred back in September and came to light this week when a report from one of the witnesses was posted by the Bigfoot Field Research Organization. According to the teen, the possible Sasquatch encounter began when the duo stopped at a visitor's parking lot in the Kettle Moraine State Forest to shoot off some bottle rockets. He recalled his friend being uneasy about the situation because he felt like they were "being watched," which the witness also said he experienced "deep down."
Setting aside their trepidation, the pair proceeded to play with the bottle rockets for approximately 20 minutes until the witness went back to his truck for more fireworks. It was then that he noticed a sizeable shape moving along the street across from the vehicle until it was directly in front of him. When the teen's eyes adjusted to the darkness and he got a clear view of the mysterious interloper, he "saw a very, very large upright figure with white and blackish gray hair." Astounded by the shocking sight, the witness alerted his friend to the creature's presence, though he only caught a glimpse of its head and shoulders due to the darkness of the moment.
Chillingly, the teen recounted, the suspected Sasquatch "started to walk toward me slowly, almost in an intimidating manner, approaching me without an ounce of fear." When the creature reached the edge of the parking lot, it was lit up by the truck's cargo light, providing the witness with a better look at what he described as a muscular, hair-covered, bipedal creature standing around 7 to 8 feet tall. Interesting, he also noted that the possible Bigfoot sported a face that was "blackish and almost oily looking" with "black eyes and a slit for the mouth." Understandably shaken by the giant figure, the witness and his friend quickly jumped in the truck and fled the scene, nearly backing over the creature, which "managed to jump out of the way before it hit it."
