Woman Given Haunted Mannequin Head?

By Tim Binnall

In a strange story out of Singapore, a woman claims to have recently been given a mannequin head that she believes came with some kind of spirit attached to it.The bizarre incident reportedly took place earlier this month when Nadie Othman purchased something on a marketplace app and was subsequently informed by the seller was going to include some additional "beauty items" for free. Marveling at her good fortune, the woman told the stranger that she would pick the items up in a few days, but things soon took an odd turn.

The seller abruptly responded that she wanted to give the woman the items as soon as possible and went so far as to offer to drop them off at her mother-in-law's house. Not wanting to pass up the free gift, she agreed to this proposal and some boxes were subsequently left at the residence the next day. That evening, Othman says, she began experiencing terrible nightmares in which she dreamed that "something was following me." The creepiness culminated when her mother-in-law called in the middle of the night asking her to return the items.

Bewildered by the odd request, Othman asked why she should do that and was informed that, ever since the packages had been delivered, her mother-in-law had been plagued by the unsettling feeling that there was a "presence of something watching her alone in the house." This was accompanied by unexplained noises emanating from the room where the boxes were placed. "She brushed it off," Othman recounted in a post on Facebook, "yet it happened repeatedly."

Upon hearing this news, Othman says, "I had goosebumps all over my body." When she subsequently went to her mother-in-law's house to look into the matter, she finally opened to boxes to see what may have been causing all this commotion and was taken aback to discover that they contained a rather eerie-looking mannequin head sporting a wig that looked to be made of human hair. Suffice it to say, the aghast Ostman opted to throw the items away in the hopes of ending whatever weirdness had come along with them and, fortunately, this seemed to do the trick.
