Arla Cailleach Collett

Arla Cailleach Collett has lived a life full of mystery in the woods. At the age of 6, she had her first face-to-face encounter with a young Sasquatch male. She was taught by her Grandmother of all the wonders that live here with us. She was never taught to fear anything but to approach in a good way. She has camped and hiked from coast to coast and into British Columbia, also speaking at conferences.

Arla has written two books, My Life with the Hairy People, which documents a good part of her life interacting with the Bigfoot and a children's book, Respecting the Water which brings a young girl, her grandmother and the Bigfoot together to educate humans on respect. She is also working on a book that brings together many of what people call cryptids together-- Dogman, Bigfoot, ETs, and others. She has had many interactions with the Dogmen across the US and believes them to be one of many beings she calls Primal People.
