Brad Barker

Brad Barker is the president and founder of HALO Corporation, a California-based organization composed of former special operations, national security and intelligence personnel. Specializing in discreet security operations, maritime security, humanitarian assistance, disaster response and all aspects of security training, HALO strives to provide safety and security for those in need and to improve force protection. Barker, who began his government service when his special operations team deployed in response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, now leads a team of global experts in the fields of security, technology and curriculum development for homeland-security studies.

Barker is on the board of directors at the National Institute for Urban Search and Rescue and has spoken at numerous counterterrorism and security summits across the country. He is a contributing author of National Security Threats in Cyber Space, From Gun Violence to Civic Health and Contemporary Piracy: Consequences and Cures. Barker is also a host of the Discovery Channel’s Kidnap & Rescue program.
