Bazzel Baz

Bazzel Baz -a.k.a. "Baz"- is a former Marine and CIA officer who has servedas writer-technical advisor for the CBS drama, The Agency. He was alsofeatured on the USA Network program, Combat Missions (now in syndication).After graduation from The Citadel, Baz served in the United States MarineCorps with his final tour of duty as a counter-terrorism officer beforebeing recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency.

He subsequently servedfor numerous years supporting the CIA in field intelligence collectionoperations in regions including Far East, Middle East, Northern Europe,Central and South America, the Mediterranean and Africa. As a paramilitaryofficer, Baz developed and recommended policy, operational doctrine, hostagerescue, methods and techniques for use in clandestine activities. Inaddition to his qualifications with the CIA, Marine Corps and work in theentertainment industry, Baz is qualified as a Secret Service firearmsinstructor and was the recipient of the Nation's Intelligence CommendationMedal. Bazzel Baz continues to maintain contact with the internationalintelligence community.
