Sidney D. Kirkpatrick

Award winning documentary film maker and best-selling author, Sidney D. Kirkpatrick is a graduate of Kent School, in Kent, Connecticut, Hampshire College, in Amherst, Massachusetts, and N.Y.U. Film School. Kirkpatrick's book, Edgar Cayce, An American Prophet, is the definitive biography of Edgar Cayce, who is best known as "the sleeping prophet." During Cayce's forty-year career as a psychic he advised housewives, corporate executives and hundreds of others --among them Thomas Edison, Harry Houdini, George Gershwin, and Woodrow Wilson. The ground-breaking insights Cayce provided on natural medicines, reincarnation, prophecies, dreams, and the healing power of the human body has spawned entire industries, and became an inspiration to such people as Albert Einstein, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, and John Lennon.
