Time, Time Travel, & Voodoo

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

Author, storyteller, & ordained Anglican priest Lionel Fanthorpe shared mysteries of time and time travel, and also discussed the practices of Voodoo and Santeria. Time is not completely understood, but gravity may be the link that unlocks its secrets, he said. With upcoming discoveries at CERN, 2008 could become the "year zero" for time travelers in the future to return to this date, he added.

He shared cases of time anomalies and strong deja vu experiences, such as when an American, Mrs. Turner, first arrived in England with her British fiance. They went to see their new home, an English manor, and as they arrived she knew every detail of the location in advance of seeing it. The butler declared "you are the lady that haunts this house." Fanthorpe speculated that Mrs. Turner astrally traveled overseas to the manor, before she physically went there. He also spoke about anachronistic artifacts such as modern shoes and spark plugs turning up in stone strata that are thousands or even millions of years old. Could this be evidence for time travelers?, he pondered.

The mystery religions of Voodoo and Santeria originated in Africa, and share some traits from the Egyptian belief system, he noted. Spells and talisman act as focal points for faith or belief, which effect change in the mind/body, Fanthorpe explained. He suggested the Voodoo practice of creating zombies is brought about by drugs and/or hypnotism, and described the case of a girl who died in 1907, only to return again in 1937 in zombie form.

Economic Analysis

First hour guest, investment adviser Catherine Austin Fitts offered analysis on the economy. The U.S. has an untenable load of debt, income is flat or falling but expenses are going up, she said, adding that trillions had been siphoned out of the country.
