What is the Universal Mind? How does the subconscious mind work? Aage Nost, an expert in fields such as strange science, the paranormal, the real power of the mind, and universal consciousness, joined guest host Richard Syrett (Twitter) to discuss his research into astral travel and life extension.

Nost reported on a Chinese herbalist and martial artist named Li Ching-Yuen, who was purportedly born in 1677 and died in 1933, and had more than 20 wives and produced over 200 descendants. He lived 256 years, and this was verified by the New York Times through a reporter the news outlet sent to China. "[The reporter] was shown government documents that proved his age," he revealed.

According to Nost, the secret to Li Ching-Yuen's long life was directly related to his diet of Chinese herbs and berries, as well as his practice of Qigong. Li Ching-Yuen claimed he was taught these life-extending practices by a hermit living in the mountains who was over 500 years old, he added. Nost admitted he has worked to reconstruct Li Ching-Yuen's diet. "There is some evidence to the fact that, yes, you can stop or even reverse the aging process," he explained, noting the role of diet in building up a certain enzyme that apparently stops the aging process.

Nost spoke about how to learn astral projection. The practice is real, millions have accidentally had out-of-body experiences, and it has been proven by experiments, he suggested. "Once you step out of the body, you are stepping into an environment you know nothing about," Nost cautioned, pointing out the astral realm is populated with disembodied spirits, souls, and other entities. He admitted it took him some time before he was able to astral travel, but it can be learned by anyone, and he teaches a class on it. Nost also warned to not "go out with fear," or one will attract the negative things in the astral realm.
