Language & Magic / Angelic Insights

Hosted byRyan Wrecker

In the first half, writer and lecturer Toby Chappell joined Ryan Wrecker (email) to discuss how he views language and magic as intertwined systems of meaning and influence. Describing magic as "a back and forth... a communication process," he explained that it is "not so much about creating results. It's about creating opportunities" by heightening awareness of potential outcomes so one can act accordingly. Linking language and magic, Chappell explored ancient alphabets, especially runes, revealing how letters originally carried symbolic meanings beyond phonetics. For example, the rune Fehu means wealth but also represents power and security, offering "a new dimension" for interpretation and magical practice.

Speaking of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, he noted that they are not merely letters but pictographic symbols conveying abstract and symbolic meanings. "Some concepts... can mean things as mundane as the dawn, the rising sun, but it can also mean the idea of becoming, the idea of becoming something more than what it was," he explained. This duality makes hieroglyphs rich but challenging to interpret. Chappell drew parallels between ancient writing and contemporary communication, noting the fluidity and evolution of language. He highlighted how modern text messaging and emojis, like hieroglyphs, rely heavily on context and can be misinterpreted.

He also touched on the historical context of literacy, noting that in ancient civilizations, such as Egypt and Greece, literacy rates were low, and written texts often served as markers of importance rather than everyday communication. Further, early writing was primarily practical, recording transactions, before evolving into poetry and abstract ideas, which introduced interpretive challenges.

In the latter half, author and lecturer Catherine Lanigan shared her experiences and insights on angelic transmissions and the spiritual shifts expected in 2026. Lanigan, who has authored over 60 books, described 2026 as a pivotal year marked by "a lot of resets" and "great changes," emphasizing a global move toward balance and healing after prolonged chaos. She believes there are now billions of angels worldwide working to elevate human consciousness toward peace and unity, and that we must reclaim our sovereignty and creative potential.

Emphasizing the necessity of "self-love" as a foundational element for humanity's transformation, she said this aspect is critical for personal and collective healing, noting how societal and familial conditioning have historically undermined individual worth. She recommended daily quiet reflection to reconnect with one's intuition or "God spark," advising listeners to "turn off the noise" from media and distractions to better hear their inner guidance. She envisions this as a prerequisite for humanity to open itself to broader cosmic connections, including with extraterrestrial and angelic beings.

She also recounted a striking episode from a 2024 trip to Egypt, in which her husband's dream and subsequent actions in the Great Pyramid symbolized the reunion or rebalancing of ancient male and female energies. Using a 432 Hz tuning fork, he struck the walls between the King's and Queen's Chambers, triggering an unprecedented physical reaction: "the walls of the pyramid started undulating," visible even from outside, she marveled.
