Civilization Catastrophe / Patterson-Gimlin Film

Date

Hosted byGeorge Noory

First Half: Researcher with extensive experience in aerospace and robotics, Charles Shults III, discusses how rapid advances in AI could push humanity toward a potentially catastrophic turning point. He examines the concept known as the Great Filter, a term used by SETI Institute researchers to describe a possible barrier in cosmic evolution. The idea suggests that civilizations reaching advanced technological status may encounter a destructive event or transformative crisis that either wipes them out or alters them so completely that they leave no detectable trace in the universe.

Second Half: Sasquatch researcher M.K. Davis talks about his latest work on the evidence for Bigfoot. He'll focus particularly on the Patterson-Gimlin film, highlighting his progress in examining various aspects of the iconic 1967 footage.
