An Argentine man was left shaken after spotting a monstrous-looking creature that he now believes was a chupacabra moments before it killed his cat. According to a local media report, the unsettling sighting occurred earlier this month in the community of Sáenz Peña when the unnamed witness initially heard the sound of a sizeable creature land on the roof of his home and then scurry into the yard. Understandably uneasy about confronting the curious interloper in the middle of the night, the man looked out a window and saw something that has haunted him ever since.
"First, I thought it was the wolf," he recalled, but that assessment soon changed when he got a closer look at the "ugly" animal that was unlike any canine he had ever seen. The bizarre beast, the witness said, was "huge" and sported front legs that were considerably longer than its hind legs. The disturbed man watched the weird animal as it prowled around his yard and eventually disappeared. After the sunrise, the witness mustered up the courage to go outside and was heartbroken to discover his cat had been killed in a most unusual fashion.
The unfortunate feline, he lamented, had been drained of its blood, presumably by the predatory creature the man had seen a few hours earlier. Dismayed by the discovery, the witness dutifully buried his pet cat, making sure to carefully wrap the remains "in case anyone wanted to see it to study" the strange case. That decision proved prescient as, after sharing his story on social media, the man was contacted by an Argentine UFO group who exhumed the animal and took a variety of samples from the body.
Originally skeptical of the chupacabra, the man conceded that he has become a believer in the blood-sucking beast after the unnerving sighting that preceded the death of his cat. Similarly, the witness said that his frightened children have fled to a family member's house. While skeptics will insist that the creature simply saw a predatory canine, their assertions likely mean little to the man, who revealed that he had consulted a mental health professional about the incident that continues to trouble him deeply.
