This week's offerings are a pair of memorable programs, beginning with an episode from 3/20/2004 wherein Art was joined by David Race Bannon, who claimed to have had 18-year-long career with Interpol and purportedly served as an agent on a division known as 'Archangel,' which was tasked with investigating particularly heinous crimes.
Next, we journey back to December 5th, 2004 for a fascinating edition of the program in which Art spoke to author Mathew Alper about his theory that the human brain is actually hard-wired for spirituality. He speculated that this arose early in humankind's development as a coping mechanism for the mystery of death. Alper also mused that there may be a part of the brain that is also hard-wired for love and explored the possibility that criminal behavior could have a genetic connection.
These vintage programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple-platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, Android, and the Coast app. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.
