This week's offerings are a pair of classic 'Ghost to Ghost' programs that occurred outside the bounds of spooky season, beginning with an episode from 11/27/98 wherein listeners recounted their scariest stories. Among the chilling tales were a man who saw his own ghost while astral traveling, a friendly spirit that resided in an old hotel, and a Ouija board session that took an unsettling turn.
Next, we journey back to June 10th, 1999 for another 'Ghost to Ghost' extravaganza. Callers that evening included a man who said that his son saw a red-eyed entity lurking under his bed and when the dutiful dad went to 'hunt' the monster, he saw the same eerie presence as well. Another listener phoned in with an account of seeing the ghost of a Confederate soldier that appeared during a Civil War battle reenactment and other callers shared tales of similarly spooky encounters with spirits and demonic entities.
These vintage programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple-platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, Android, and the Coast app. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.
