C2C's Spookiest Ghost Videos of 2025

By Tim Binnall

This past year saw no shortage of eerie videos featuring unsettling anomalies that may have emanated from the spirit realm. As is often the case, the suspected ghosts appeared in a variety of forms, from full-bodied apparitions and perplexing balls of light to objects that inexplicably moved on their own, and in one peculiar instance, as a legendary phantom horseman. Were the spirits showcased at the C2C website throughout the year genuine visitors from the 'other side' or merely tricks of light and shadow or something similarly prosaic? We'll let you decide as we present C2C's spookiest ghost videos of 2025.

  • A doorbell camera in England captured an eyebrow-raising moment when two women passed each other along a sidewalk and, moments later, one of them vanished into thin air. When later asked about the incident, the other woman insisted that she had no recollection of the stranger who, based on her decades-old clothing, appeared to come from the distant past.
  • Cops on patrol in a Mexican community were understandably taken aback when they encountered two ghostly children at the locked gate of a schoolyard at around three o'clock in the morning. The terrifying tots screamed at the confounded officers before running off into the night, never to be seen again.
  • A notoriously haunted library in Indiana bolstered its spooky reputation this past year when cameras captured what appeared to be a secure door inexplicably opening and closing on its own, long after everyone had left the building.
  • The staff of a Wyoming jail wondered if there might be a resident ghost at the facility after security footage showed a soda can seemingly moving on its own across a desk as a confounded cop watched the weirdness unfold before his eyes.
  • A pair of travelers in Argentina were positively terrified after their car was followed for several miles by a mysterious orb believed to be a folkloric sinister spirit known as 'luz mala.
  • Prospective homebuyers in New Jersey were understandably taken aback when they perused the photos of a residence and spotted, in several pictures, an unnerving anomaly that appeared to be a full-bodied apparition.
  • A Mexican museum exhibit celebrating a famous 'witch' named María Sabina may have had a visit from the mystic herself as a patron's video showed a wax figurine of the woman chillingly turn its head towards the camera.
  • One of the stranger videos of the year showed what some believed to be a legendary 'ghost horseman,' known as El Charro Negro, riding down a city street in Mexico.
  • An Ecuadorian politician made headlines when, during a media appearance, he recounted paranormal happenings in the country's capitol building and shared video evidence for what was said to be an apparition well-known to workers at the site.
  • Out of Chile came a creepy case in which a company conducting survey work at a cemetery inadvertently captured what seemed to be a ghost child standing behind some workers.
