In Coast You Missed It 5/9/25

The JFK assassination files, UFO disclosure, and channeled insights were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. Meanwhile, at the C2C website, we told you about a pair of creepy clown incidents, a hexagonal UFO filmed near the Mojave Desert, and an alleged alien sphere recovered from Colombia. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

Channeled insights took center stage on Monday night's program as author and spiritual coach Roger Burnley detailed his communications with a mysterious consciousness that he has dubbed 'Wilhelm.' He explained that these dispatches began a staggering 36 years ago when he connected with the figure through automatic writing sessions. The collective messages from Wilhelm, Burnley said, conveyed that each individual is unique and valuable with their own specific purpose or role in the world. During his appearance, he also discussed the power of meditation in connecting with one's higher self to achieve a similar connection.

In what one hopes was not the start of a wave of incidents, creepy clowns were back in the news in a big way this past week with two troubling stories of communities being menaced by the miscreants. First, in Upstate New York, an Albany suburb was buzzing after cops arrested a man wearing a haunting harlequin mask and allegedly roaming around a neighborhood with a chainsaw. Officers were able to take the clown into custody after a brave resident actually wrestled him to the ground while calling for an onlooker to call the police. Later in the week, it was learned that a small town in Sweden has been plagued by a similarly sinister harlequin who has been terrifying children by chasing after them in public parks for the last several weeks.

The newly released JFK assassination files were in the spotlight on Wednesday night's program as investigative reporter Mark Shaw shared his thoughts on the documents and other new developments surrounding the case. He indicated that researchers who have pored over the voluminous materials have found that they do not support the official story that President Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. Shaw also cited the testimonies of medical examiners who indicated that the wounds from the shooting suggested that JFK had been shot from the front, which contradicts the Warren Commission's single-bullet theory.

A pair of stories involving oddly shaped UFOs made headlines this past week, beginning with fantastic footage of a pulsating hexagonal anomaly. The curious object was filmed near the Mojave Desert by an astonished witness who observed the oddity hover in the sky for a whopping fifteen minutes. Theories for what the eye-catching UFO could have been include the remnants of a rocket launch, a drone, or, of course, aliens. Meanwhile, a Texas couple visiting Florida had a once-in-a-lifetime vacation experience when they spotted a leaf-shaped UFO that appeared in the sky while they were driving down the highway. To their amazement, the puzzling object rotated sideways and then completely vanished.

After decades of trying to get to the bottom of the UFO mystery, are we finally on the cusp of disclosure? On Sunday night's program, longtime activist toward that goal, Stephen Bassett, argued that this is indeed the case, declaring that "we are really, really close." To that end, he speculated that the government could make a formal announcement about the phenomenon in a matter of months rather than years. He also postulated that a post-disclosure world would see far greater demands for transparency concerning non-human intelligence and technology once the general public has been made aware of their reality.

This past week saw an unexpected update to a March viral video of a silver sphere seen landing in a Colombian field as Mexican journalist and UFO researcher Jaime Maussan revealed that he has come into possession of the puzzling object. The odd orb measures approximately twenty inches in diameter and sports a strange symbol encircled by mysterious characters seemingly spelling out a message. While Maussan marveled that the sphere may be otherworldly, more skeptical observers suggested that the 'alien object' could simply be a publicity stunt on the part of its discoverer, who happens to own a metal detector company.
