Demonic possession and spiritual attacks, UFO disclosure, and humanity merging with machines were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. Meanwhile, at the C2C website, we told you about a possible ghost child filmed at an ATM in Mexico, a suspected Sasquatch sighting at a Michigan beach, and a crook who thought a 'concealment spell' would prevent him from being caught. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.
UFO disclosure was explored on Monday night's program as attorney and advocate Daniel Sheehan shared insights on the latest developments in the decades-long effort to pry answers about the phenomenon from the 'powers that be.' He posited that the government is in the process of a carefully orchestrated effort to reveal insights about unidentified aerial anomalies to the public without causing social upheaval by providing all of the earth-shattering information at once. To that end, Sheenan asserted that perceived whistleblowers have been authorized to come forward with UFO revelations in recent years as part of the proverbial disclosure program.
A pair of eerie accounts of possible hauntings involving ghost children made headlines, beginning with a spooky video from Mexico. The chilling footage showed a peculiar shadow, which some thought to be the spirit of a youngster, lingering in front of an ATM in Mexico. The chilling footage went viral on social media in the country, spawning considerable debate as to the nature of the odd anomaly. Later in the week, workers at an appliance store in Argentina came forward with a remarkable tale of discovering hand and footprints seemingly left behind by a child overnight after the shop had been cleaned before closing. When the employees checked security footage to see what could have caused the mysterious markings, there was no one to be found in the store.
Sinister spiritual attacks were in the spotlight on Saturday night's program as Reverend Bill Bean detailed his experience with demonic possession. He recalled being physically assaulted by evil entities throughout his childhood due to a century-old curse that came about after a distant relative purposely manifested an unholy force that wreaked havoc on subsequent generations of his family. Through the help of an uncle, who was a devout Christian, Bean was finally freed from the clutches of the demonic beings that had tortured him for years. Since that time, he has turned the tables on Satan's minions by helping others who are suffering under similar circumstances.
Bigfoot was back in the news this past week with two stories centered around the elusive cryptid. First, in Michigan, a pair of sisters walking their dog along a beach spotted a sizeable figure that suddenly appeared behind a huge pile of driftwood. Described as having "the build of a very big lumberjack with no neck," the unnerving interloper caused their Doberman to stop in its tracks and sent the witnesses fleeing from the scene. Meanwhile, in a Maine community, residents participating in Tuesday's state primary received 'I Voted' stickers featuring Sasquatch. The brainchild of election officials in the town of Buxton, the cool decal was aimed at encouraging people to perform their civic duty.
Is humanity on the cusp of a profound transformation wherein it will become inextricably merged with machines? This troubling scenario was explored on Tuesday night's program by scientist Gregg Braden. He warned that rather than being a natural evolutionary development, technology such as implanted brain chips and nano-sensors could cause the degeneration of our biology. Braden also expressed concern about young people's increasing reliance on AI for things like writing and creating artwork, as studies have shown that it contributes to cognitive abilities becoming atrophied. He ultimately argued for using technology to support biological processes rather than replace them.
Easily, the oddest story of the week came from Thailand, where a sticky-fingered ne'er-do-well's 'foolproof plan' to steal from a temple turned out to be anything but. The curious case saw the miscreant sneak into the site overnight, smash some donation boxes, and slip away with a fairly sizeable sum of money. When cops later tracked down the thief using CCTV footage from the temple, he was weirdly surprised that he had gotten caught because, as the crook explained to police, he had recited a 'concealment spell' before the crime with the belief that the ritual would prevent him from being seen during the burglary.
