To seasoned students of the paranormal, few cases are as compelling as instances wherein UFOs and Bigfoot seemingly cross paths. On Sunday night's program, paranormal researcher Stan Gordon detailed such incidents. He recalled personally investigating a now-legendary 1973 wave of UFO reports that unfolded in Pennsylvania and included a compelling event in which a witness observed two hair-covered bipedal figures illuminated by a UFO overhead. Additionally, he recounted a wild 1974 case where a woman blasted a Sasquatch with a shotgun, and the creature simply vanished in a mystifying flash. During his appearance, Gordon also discussed how his seven decades of researching the paranormal have shaped his perspective on phenomena like UFOs and Bigfoot.
Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster both made headlines this past week as astonished witnesses reported possible sightings of the legendary cryptids. On the Sasquatch front, a Colorado woman cruising down the highway spotted an 8-foot-tall, hair-covered bipedal creature on the side of the road. Previously skeptical that Bigfoot exists, she became an instant believer after the remarkable moment. Meanwhile, at Loch Ness, an Australian tourist visiting the iconic Scottish site observed three seemingly connected humps emerge from the water and move in a fashion reminiscent of a swimming creature. The fantastic account has been recognized as the 10th official 'monster' sighting in what has become a banner year for Nessie cases.
The occult underpinnings of Elvis Presley's life and death were explored on Thursday night's program by writer and podcaster Miguel Conner. Likening the legendary musician to a mystic burdened by human frailties, he noted that The King was deeply interested in esoteric ideas, with his life resembling a spiritual quest. Regarding his passing, Connor posited that Elvis may have been killed by someone from his inner circle fearful that the artist was about to take greater control of his career. He also pointed to a several eerie elements surrounding the iconic musician's passing which suggest that the event may have been an elaborate ritual.
This past week featured a pair of puzzling videos from Colombia wherein paranormal phenomena appeared to vanish into thin air. In the first instance, witnesses watching a weird white orb hovering in the sky were astonished when the mystifying UFO suddenly disappeared before their eyes. While some viewers of the viral video suggested that curious moment was an alien craft cloaking itself, more skeptical observers argued it was simply a balloon popping. The second piece of footage was nearly as mystifying. Filmed by a security camera, it showed a ghostly figure walking through a parking lot before seemingly dematerializing.
Dreams took center stage on Tuesday night's program as author Bonnie Buckner, PhD, detailed their profound power in aiding personal transformation. Likening these moments to a mirror for the mind, she mused that dreams reflect the thoughts and emotions within an individual that they may not necessarily recognize when they are wide awake. To that end, she suggested that nightmares were manifestations of unresolved issues and often serve as a warning sign for matters a person needs to address in their life. Buckner also talked about how lucid dreams are a fantastic opportunity for enhancing creativity and the mysterious phenomenon of shared dreams.
Two rather peculiar tales of farmers making terrible decisions popped up in the news this past week. In India, a man who had recently acquired $5,000 in a property sale decided to keep the money a secret from his family by burying it on his land. The strange scheme quickly went south as he first forgot where he hid the cash after a few months. Then, when it finally surfaced after monsoon season, the bills were discovered destroyed by termites. Later in the week, a Chinese farmer who had grown fond of relying on an AI chatbot for insights to help with his work made a grave error when he blindly followed an incorrect weedkiller recipe he received and subsequently wiped out a staggering 25 acres of crops.
