A spooky video from Bolivia shows what appears to be a ghost child wandering around a market in the middle of the night. According to a local media report, the chilling scene was captured by a security camera at a sizeable building in La Paz where cocoa producers exchange their product. In the footage, which was said to have been filmed at 2 AM, a small child can be seen wandering around the sacks of leaves. Eerily, the youngster appears to alternate between being solid and transparent as it moves through the market.
Eerily, in discussing the strange video, a worker from the building indicated that the footage came to light after his colleagues in the building reported seeing a child wandering around and then vanishing into thin air. Since being posted online, the footage had spread like wildfire on Bolivian social media, with some believing that the diminutive figure is a genuine ghost child. More skeptical observers, meanwhile, have posited that the scene is some kind of prank or, failing that, a technological glitch. What do you make of the peculiar scene?
