First Half: Author, artist, and speaker Eliott Edge will delve into the simulation hypothesis from both scientific and cultural viewpoints. He will investigate the role of consciousness within simulation theory and discuss how humans already exist within a form of “virtual reality” shaped by language, culture, belief, and biology—whether or not we are actually in a simulation.
Second Half: Mandy Benoualid is the President and co-founder of Keeper, an online memorial and digital legacy platform that helps individuals document their life stories and helps families preserve and share those memories after a death. She'll share how her work is changing the way people honor others and preserve their information and legacies both before and after death.
