This week's offerings are a pair of classic programs, beginning with a fascinating episode from 3/29/2000 in which Art was joined by Dr. John Brandenburg and Monica Rix Paxson, who argued that Mars was once a thriving planet, but wound up succumbing to a climate catastrophe that wiped out all life. They discussed Martian anomalies that could be evidence of previous life on the Red Planet as well as how Mars' history is eerily similar to the challenges currently facing the Earth.
Next, we travel back to November 21st, 2002 for a riveting edition of the program wherein Art spoke to Gordon-Michael Scallion about demonic possession, which he described as being more connected to negativity and evil rather than an actual figure such as Satan. He cautioned that dabbling in the occult can open one up to being possessed and lamented that the stress of our modern age seems to be particularly conducive to allowing these dark forces to thrive. Scallion postulated that there is an impending showdown between good and evil looming on the horizon.
These vintage programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple-platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, Android, and the Coast app. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.
