Art Bell Vault: Out-Of-Body Experiences / Peak Oil

Just for Coast Insiders, the Art Bell Vault, offers a curated collection, currently containing more than 400 programs, with two vintage shows added to the mix each Wednesday. This week's offerings are a pair of classic programs, beginning with an enlightening episode from 2/14/2004 in which Art talked to William Buhlman, who discussed his extensive research into out-of-body experiences and shared insights from his massive survey on the phenomenon which included over 16,000 participants from 32 countries.

Next, we journey back to April 4th, 2004 for a memorable edition of program wherein Art was joined by Richard Heinberg, who warned that the planet was on the cusp of hitting Peak Oil, which is the point when maximum global oil production has been reached. Suggesting that the era of fossil fuel dependence was quickly coming to an end, he envisioned future conflicts over increasingly limited resources and called for further development of renewable energy technology.

These vintage programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, Android, and the Coast app. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.

And for the true Art Bell fan, we offer different listening options to fine-tune your experience, such as guest-only, and full show streams. Coast Insiders, we're very happy to bring this new offering to you at no additional charge to your subscription!
