A puzzling series of game camera photos from Alabama shows an eerie and rather sizeable orb seemingly watching over some deer in a man's backyard. The interesting images (one of which can be seen below and the others here) were submitted to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) by a property owner in the community of Wilmer. Spotted on the evening of March 25th, the mysterious "egg-shaped light" was photographed multiple times over the course of several hours throughout the night. "It's even around the deer while they are eating grass," the property owner marveled, noting that the notoriously skittish animals appear unfazed by its presence.
Based on the location of the large light in the photos, the man estimated that the object was a whopping four feet in diameter and a staggering 6 to 8 feet long. To that end, something about the anomaly struck the record-keepers at the NUFORC as odd as they specifically noted that "normally we would classify this as an insect flying very close to the camera." However, they appeared to express skepticism about that assessment due to the light being "unusually bright." With that in mind, what do you think was photographed watching over the deer in Wilmer?
