In Coast You Missed It 4/10/20

A journey to the 'other side,' perspectives on the coronavirus, and dealing with stress during these troubling times were among the fascinating realms explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a mysterious Medieval shrine discovered in England, a dog that may have spotted a ghost, and a tree in Colombia that looked remarkably similar to Christ on the cross. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

Few phenomena in the realm of the paranormal are as personally profound as near-death experiences. In a riveting edition of the program this past Sunday night, author Kevin F. Montague discussed an NDE that he had which was his second such journey to the 'other side.' In remarkable detail, he recalled crossing through a misty portal, speaking to Jesus, and entering a crystalline gold mansion wherein he encountered a pair of twelve-foot-tall angels who led him into the Hall of Records.

Serving as yet another example of how there are secrets from the past sitting beneath our feet waiting to be discovered, a landslide in England allowed for just such a scenario to play out when it revealed a mysterious medieval shrine. The intriguing find was made by astounded railroad workers as they surveyed the damage from the event and spotted the unusual cavern carved into a hill. A subsequent analysis by an archaeologist determined that the cave was likely from the 14th century.

This past week saw a bevy of Coast to Coast AM guests offering their thoughts on the coronavirus crisis. On Tuesday night's program, Jon Rappoport shared his investigation into the pandemic and Shepard Ambellas theorized that our current situation is actually a cover for an impending asteroid due to strike the Earth. Dr. Joel Wallach shared health tips in the age of the coronavirus on Wednesday night's show and Sherri Tenpenny discussed vaccinations in relation to the pandemic on Thursday night's program.

The coronavirus continued to find its way into the world of the weird this past week by way of several odd stories. In Colombia, a stir went through a village when it was noticed that a tree bore an uncanny resemblance to Jesus on the cross and residents broke quarantine to crowd around the wondrous sight. Over in India, tales of a mysterious entity knocking on doors at night caused a people to also disregard stay-at-home rules to hunt for the menace and, in the northern part of the country, the Himalayas were visible for the first time in 30 years thanks to a downturn in pollution due to the nationwide lockdown.

In light of world events, it's quite understandable that many people are particularly stressed at the moment. On Monday night's program, psychotherapist Dr. Laurie Nadel provided insights into how to cope with these feelings which, she said, can manifest as anxiety, irritability, and panic among a litany of other unpleasant emotions. To combat these signs of acute stress, she suggested meditation, reducing cell phone use, and tracking happy moments when they occur.

While much of the world may be practicing social distancing, it would seem that the spirit world may not have gotten the memo as this past week saw a pair of possible apparitions caught on tape. In England, a woman's home security system filmed an eerie anomaly that she believes was a ghost walking down the road outside her house. Meanwhile, a man in Louisiana shared some spooky footage in which his dog appears to be disturbed by a shadow person lingering in his backyard.
