In Coast You Missed It 2/9/24

The possibility that aliens are demons in disguise, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the UFO phenomenon were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a flying saucer photographed in Argentina, a mysterious piece of metal that fell on a house in Philly, and Amelia Earhart's family weighing in on the possible discovery of her plane. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

UFOs were once again a hot topic of conversation on Coast to Coast AM this past week, beginning with Sunday night's show wherein researcher Ryan Wood detailed his recent work using AI to unearth new insights into the phenomenon. By feeding approximately 50 UFO books into Chat GPT-4 software and then asking the program questions, he received a considerable number of answers that surprised him. On Monday night's program, investigative reporter Paola Harris discussed the 1945 Trinity UFO crash case, the possible connection between aliens and nuclear weapons, whistleblowers, and crash retrievals.

In somewhat surprising turn of events, this past week saw the family of Amelia Earhart responded to the news that the pioneering pilot's lost plane may have finally been found. Despite undoubtedly having seen similar assertions offered in the past, the aviator's great-nephew Bram Kleppner expressed optimism about the sonar images that appear to show a submerged aircraft near where her historic around-the-world journey is believed to have met its tragic end. Should the anomaly turn out to be Earhart's plane, he indicated that the family would like to see it salvaged and put on display at the Smithsonian Museum.

Was the Great Pyramid of Giza an enormous power plant that provided energy to ancient Egypt? Engineer Christopher Dunn explored this tantalizing question on Wednesday night's program, positing that the observation of "earthquake lights" by the pyramid builders led to them developing a way to harness electron flow from stressed igneous rocks. He theorized that famed inventor Nikola Tesla may have stumbled upon similar technology during his attempts to develop wireless energy distribution. Dunn also noted that the shafts and passageways within the structure would seem to suggest that it was not specifically designed to be a tomb.

A pair of puzzling mysteries popped up on our radar this past week, beginning with a weird case out of Philadelphia where a family discovered a sizeable unidentified metal object had somehow fallen onto their roof unnoticed. Somewhat resembling the door of a plane, the peculiar piece was examined by FAA investigators, though they have yet to offer any explanation for what it is and how wound up atop a house. Later in the week, a radio station in Alabama fell victim to a shocking heist wherein thieves stole their 200-foot tower, which wound up knocking them off the air. How and why the bandits made off with the enormous equipment is unknown.

A troubling possibility that has concerned many people over the years is that what are perceived to be alien visitors might really be fallen angels. On Thursday night's program, Bible scholar Scott Mitchell made the case for just such a scenario, arguing that the original conflict between God and Lucifer was an intergalactic war. He went on to paint a worrisome picture in which our planet is first attacked by these entities masquerading as hostile ETs before we are 'saved' by purportedly benevolent aliens who are working in league with the invaders to dupe the human race. During his appearance, Mitchell also talked about reports of gargoyle-like entities said to have been seen by soldiers wearing night vision goggles during the Vietnam War.

A woman in Argentina made headlines this past week when she shared a remarkable series of images that appear to show a classic flying saucer. Rina Valle Juárez captured the fantastic photos while driving to the community of San Pedro de Colalao with her husband. Snapping pictures of the wildlife in the area, her attention was drawn to a dark form that she initially suspected was a blackbird, but soon realized was something far stranger. When she later looked at the images, Juárez was astounded by their clarity and mused that the odd shape seemed to be some kind of ship, perhaps of the alien variety.
