In Coast You Missed It 6/9/23

A vivid black triangle UFO sighting, claims of a secret space program, and the mysterious death of Marilyn Monroe were among the fascinating topics explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a whistleblower claiming the government has retrieved crashed alien craft, possible drone footage of a chupacabra, and a family in Las Vegas who say they saw ETs in their backyard. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

The mysterious death of Marilyn Monroe was revisited on Thursday night's program as author Jay Margolis detailed his new work investigating the Hollywood icon's remarkable story. He revealed that, two days prior to her passing, the actress had threatened to hold a press conference wherein she would not only reveal her affairs with JFK and Robert Kennedy, but also spill secrets concerning UFOs and clandestine attempts to kill Fidel Castro. Margolis postulated that this led the proverbial 'powers that be' to arrange for her death and noted that, while ambulance attendants were trying to revive Monroe, her psychiatrist arrived on the scene and injected her with an unknown substance which, the author contends, served as the fatal blow which ended her life.

UFOs were the subject of worldwide headlines once again this week when a former US intelligence officer came forward with the fantastic claim that the government has recovered downed craft that are 'not of this world' and, in some instances, retrieved their alien pilots. David Charles Grusch asserts that he discovered this information while working for the National Reconnaissance Office and subsequently passed it along to Congress. However, since the materials are highly classified, the whistleblower was unable to provide tangible proof for his tale. That said, his credentials are solid enough that the claim could wind up resulting in a House hearing about the matter as multiple Representatives indicated that they were rather intrigued by his story.

Could there be a secret space program in which astronauts interact with extraterrestrials? This tantalizing possibility was explored on Monday night's program as Dr. Michael Salla detailed his conversation with a purported whistleblower, dubbed 'JP,' who claims that just such a scenario is currently unfolding. The currently active US soldier told him that there is a submerged ET spacecraft in the Atlantic Ocean and, last year, he was whisked away to Jupiter's moon Ganymede, where there is allegedly a contingent of aliens currently residing. According to Salla, JP also asserted that there are civilizations of beings living within the Earth and that they possess fantastic technology.

Has the mysterious and infamous chupacabra finally been caught on film? That was the question surrounding a peculiar drone video which emerged out of Bolivia this past week. In the footage, as the UAV sweeps over a field of crops in the city of Oruro, a curious-looking anomaly resembling a bipedal creature can be seen on the ground. Alas, the oddity was seemingly missed by the drone operator as it did not attempt to get a better look at the strange figure. That said, many residents in the area believe that it could have been the notorious chupacabra, which has been blamed for a series of strange animal slayings in the community over the last few years.

One of the more prevalent types of UFOs seen by witnesses over the last few decades are black triangles that float silently in the sky. On Tuesday night's program, graphic designer Colin Saunders recounted his own sighting of such a craft, which occurred in the UK back in 1999. The incident began, he said, with intense red and white lights suddenly appearing overhead and, shortly thereafter, he realized that they were a part of a massive metallic vehicle that appeared almost organic in nature. Sharing his detailed drawings of the ship with the show, Saunders speculated that his insights into the craft had somehow been telepathically projected into his mind.

Easily the weirdest story of the week came by way of Las Vegas, where police were enlisted to investigate a call from a family who reported seeing giant aliens in their backyard. The very strange case began when multiple witnesses observed a bright object falling from the sky. Approximately an hour after that event, which was actually captured by a police body camera, the family phoned 911 to report a pair of eight-foot-tall beings lingering outside their home. Unfortunately, by the time cops arrived on the scene, the entities were nowhere to be found, though the witnesses insisted that their story was genuine and the responding officers seemed to believe them.
