In Coast You Missed It 2/5/21

Breakthrough UFO cases, nightmares, and forbidden archaeology were among the fascinating realms explored this past week on Coast to Coast AM. And, here at the C2C website, we told you about a golden-tongued mummy unearthed in Egypt, a 'dead' woman in Argentina who was found to be still alive moments before being cremated, and a young man in England who claims to have encountered a telepathic 'praying mantis' alien. Check out our round-up of highlights from the past week ... In Coast You Missed It.

Nightmares are a universal part of the human experience that have been endured by people since the dawn of time and around the world. On Tuesday night's program, Dr. Clare R. Johnson explained the physical brain functions which allow these frightening dreams to occur and mused that, although undoubtedly unnerving, these can actually provide helpful insights to our lives which otherwise may be impossible to attain during the waking state. Conquering nightmares, she said, can be accomplished by becoming lucid during the experience and confronting whatever frightening material is contained therein. During her appearance, Johnson also talked about how to overcome sleep paralysis.

A pair of fantastic finds from the distant past made news this week, beginning with the discovery of a 220-million-year-old dinosaur footprint which was actually spotted by a four-year-old girl who was walking with her father along a beach in Wales. The remarkable impression has been hailed by scientists as one of the most well-preserved specimens ever found in the region. Meanwhile, in Egypt, archaeologists excavating a burial site unearthed a mummy that had been laid to rest with a golden tongue! Experts say that the dazzling detail was meant to ensure that the deceased individual could speak when they reached the afterlife.

While there have been countless UFO reports since the phenomenon first captured the attention of the public decades ago, a handful of particularly promising cases stand out as potential breakthrough events. These incidents were explored in a special edition of C2C this past Sunday evening featuring seasoned researchers Rich Hoffman, Robert Powell, and Kevin Knuth of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies. During their four-hour appearance, the trio discussed the 2004 'Tic Tac' case, an intriguing event from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and the 2008 Stephenville, Texas mass UFO sighting among other landmark moments which may provide insights into the mysterious phenomenon.

One of the more miraculous stories we've heard in quite some time took place this past week in Argentina, where a woman who was pronounced dead narrowly escaped being cremated by just a few seconds when it was discovered that she was still alive. The shocking turn of events began when the 89-year-old resident of Resistencia was taken to the hospital for heart trouble and, days later, her daughter was informed that she had passed away. Following a memorial service, the woman was about to be sent into the cremation chamber when her daughter noticed that she was showing signs of life! Fortunately, she was able to alert workers at the site before the conveyor belt took her mother to a fiery end.

Could the origins and evolution of humanity be far different from what we were told in school? This intriguing question was explored on Wednesday night's show by 'forbidden archaeologist' Michael Cremo, who returned to the program to provide an update on his research into anomalous artifacts and other finds which seemingly upend conventional thinking. He detailed the discovery of a barbed spear point believed to be a whopping 800,000 years old, which would be two times older than when scientists believe humans first emerged. Cremo also discussed an array of evidence that appears to suggest that there were giant humans that once roamed the Earth.

By far the most bizarre story of the week came by way of England, where a young man claimed that he encountered a telepathic 'praying mantis' alien while riding his bike home from work. The chilling incident saw the dog food factory employee first spot an odd UFO in the sky which caused him to flee the area in fear. However, his nightmare had only just begun, the man said, as he promptly stumbled upon a seven-foot-tall entity resembling a praying mantis. When their eyes met, the man's mind allegedly became filled with "thoughts of utter hatred and evil" that kept him frozen in place until he was able to break the spell and escape.
