Chris Burgard graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Theater Arts. Chris made his directorial debut on the cult horror film The Ruining, and later partnered with editor Todd Sheridan Perry and producer Jennifer Champagne to create BORDER, an investigative documentary on the state of our southern border with Mexico. The documentary took Chris and his camera team down to the U.S. Mexican border to interview Border Patrol agents, illegal immigrants, Minutemen, politicians, representatives of the ACLU and local ranchers.
