Richard Progovitz

Biography:

Certified Mold Inspector and mycologist, Richard F. Progovitz worked for IBM for 25 years as a mechanical engineer. He is on-call with the Lourdes Hospital's Poison Control Center in New York State, to aid in identification of wild mushrooms that people have consumed. He has given numerous lectures and seminars on fungi (mushrooms and molds), and is known for his creation of sets of edible and poisonous Wild Mushroom Flash Cards.
