In the first half, biochemist specializing in protein chemistry, Dr. Katherine Reid, discussed the health problems associated with food additives such as MSG, which she believed triggered her daughter's autism. Dietary changes completely removed the autism symptoms, and have been helpful in alleviating other problems particularly in developing children, she reported. Proteins high in glutamic acid end up functioning like MSG, and cause various health symptoms, similar to MSG (Monosodium Glutamate), she continued. MSG binds to taste receptors on the tongue, and makes people think the food tastes better, Reid explained.
A number of companies claim their products don't contain MSG when they actually do-- ingredients such as "hydrolyzed protein" or "natural flavors" are often covers for MSG, she noted. Getting away from additives, processed foods, and most restaurant food, she advocated a diet of whole foods made with organic ingredients (which won't have GMOs), and natural herbs and spices. She did caution that people might experience withdrawal systems in the short term if they suddenly switch away from a diet high in processed foods.
In the latter half, experts in the 1947 Roswell UFO crash, Tom Carey and Don Schmitt talked about their investigation of Wright-Patterson AFB near Dayton, Ohio, where it's said that wreckage and ET bodies from Roswell were taken. We believe that for 35 years after 1947, the wreckage remained at Wright-Patterson, Carey stated, but in the 1980s the wreckage was moved to Area 51 for a period. There is some evidence that the ET bodies were moved to various military facilities for study over the years, Carey continued. For example, in 1964 at Lackland AFB in Texas, an Air Force Colonel said he was asked to observe an alien body on a gurney that was undergoing a medical examination.
One of the early Wright-Patt accounts Carey and Schmitt heard was that in the 1940s, at Building 18F, noxious smells were coming out of the vents of a cold storage facility (in the days before air conditioning), where some said the ET bodies were kept. Later witnesses described seeing the alien bodies in cryogenic suspension tubes, as technology changed over the years. Wright-Patt continues to be an active base, and has a larger staff than the Pentagon, Schmitt noted, adding that many astronauts have trained there. Schmitt also recalled the life of his late colleague, J. Allen Hynek, the pioneering UFO investigator.
