Alien Abduction Scenarios

About the show

The late Dr. Karla Turner described her extensive research into alien abductions following a pivotal experience in her family in 1988. She said she believed that there are at least two types of UFO sightings: random (visible to many) and "targeted sightings," where craft are perceived only by specific individuals or small groups, even when others are nearby. Dr. Turner suggested humanity might be undergoing an "evolutionary leap" or "mutation," developing new perceptive abilities that allow awareness of a phenomenon that has been ongoing, possibly for "eons,” and expressed her theory that aliens view humans as a "resource" or "product," like livestock.

Characterizing aliens as "consummate liars and deceivers," she said cloned human bodies shown to abductees are sometimes described as being for "resurrection" (religious context) or as replacements for uncooperative individuals. While acknowledging a metaphysical aspect, she emphasizes that many reported alien procedures are distinctly physical (e.g., brain operations, removal of bodily fluids, etc.) Her research into alleged “implants” often found terrestrial materials, leading to theories that aliens might come from another dimension or time, or have simply adapted to using Earth's resources. Aliens can also create "virtual reality" scenarios that feel real to the abductee but are not perceivable by others, she said.

She generally advised against actively pursuing repressed abduction memories out of mere curiosity, as the knowledge can be profoundly life-altering and frustrating given the current lack of understanding about how to effectively respond to the phenomenon.

At the beginning of the program, investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe reported on a series of disturbing animal mutilations in northern New Mexico, which featured precise excisions, unusual tissue conditions, and repeated sightings of a mysterious black helicopter.
