Alien Implants & Abuctions

About the show

The late Dr. Roger Leir, author of Aliens and the Scalpel, was a prominent figure in the study of physical evidence within ufology. Working with a surgical team, he reported performing procedures on individuals who claimed alien abduction, removing a total of ten objects he believed could be extraterrestrial implants. Researcher Derrel Sims, known for his work on human-alien encounters, joined Leir in examining cases involving alleged contact and physical evidence. The two discussed their latest findings, as well as their organization, Fund for Interactive Research in Space Technology (FIRST).

Leir stated that his team had identified unusual objects in the bodies of some abductees that he believed exhibited non-terrestrial characteristics. He also recounted an incident in which a government scientist told his wife that NASA had been instructed to cancel the International Space Station program due to warnings to “stay out of space.”

Both guests described anomalous features in these so-called implant cases, arguing that the retrieved objects did not appear consistent with known materials or biological responses. According to Leir, the objects were not rejected or encapsulated by surrounding tissue, as typically occurs with foreign bodies. He further claimed the presence of a surrounding membrane that resisted cutting with a scalpel, adding that such properties had drawn interest from pharmaceutical researchers studying ways to prevent organ transplant rejection. Sims, however, noted that among the many cases he reviewed, only a small percentage involved individuals with alleged implants.
