On this all-Open Lines night, the first half hour consisted of current news about the OJ trial, an 89-year-old billionaire who married 26-year-old Anna Nicole Smith and who died soon afterward, and a woman who jumped from a bridge to her death after being attacked. A caller discussed ancient aliens tampering with human evolution; a self-described socialist argued politics with Art; and Art read an email with instructions on how to hasten the end of the world titled "40 Ways to Destroy Earth."

Later, another caller accused Art of "copping out" on his UFO sighting because he refused to say it was definitely ET. Other callers discussed laws about complicity in murder, the possible discovery of Noah's Ark, the upcoming 'Alien Autopsy' TV show, and a possible hoax involving the iconic Seattle Space Needle used as an advertising sign.
