'What If?' & Quickening Open Lines

About the show

In this all Open Lines edition, Art asks callers about incidents and trends they think are contributing to the "Quickening," which consists of bad news and portents of doom. Callers also share “what if?” scenarios, such as comets striking the Earth, evolutionary changes that would make people telepathic, speculation that Art is a master Mason, and strange political scenarios.

The calls are interspersed with such subjects as the Menendez brothers trial, the 1996 presidential race, Richard C. Hoagland's press conference with ex-NASA employees regarding structures on the Moon, and Art's feral cat, Comet, who resides behind the washing machine.
