Jonathan Berman

Jonathan Berman is a professor of film and video at California State University in San Marcos, who makes films that redefine how alternative ideas and communities are presented. His documentaries often explore 'third spaces,' which are places outside the home or work that hold a particular passion for people. These have included steambaths, communes and most recently his film ‘Calling All Earthlings,’ which is about the Integratron, which is an alien-inspired mystery dome near Joshua Tree, California.
