Biography:

Brother Hakim Bey is a researcher, writer, publisher, and genealogist. He was a teacher in NY City, and has taught every grade from 1st to 9th, and every subject in between. He was a former Grand Sheik and Adept of the Moorish Science Temple, a community activist and founder of Juma Community Center in the Bronx, New York, a Moorish Aboriginal Shaman, Ancestral Priest, and Historian. He is also a graduate of Lehman College in New York.
