Al Dobbs discovered musician Jim Sullivan one night at a bar called The Raft. He was immediately taken by Jim’s songs and eventually became friends with Jim. He also helped produce Jim’s only album in 1969 called U.F.O. During this time, Al was working as a cue card holder for “Laugh-In.”
