Biography:

Dr. Jan Francke is an internationally renowned geophysicist and Fellow of The Explorers Club whose career spans more than three and a half decades and 108 countries across six continents. Armed with a PhD in Geophysics, he has led expeditions through every imaginable environment —from conflict zones and jungles to deserts and icefields— often under extraordinary conditions that have included civil wars, car chases in Syria, and treasure hunts stretching from the Philippines to the Great Pyramid of Giza.

His pioneering work in radar-based subsurface mapping has been instrumental in discovering ancient civilizations, lost infrastructure, and long-buried archaeological mysteries, with his expertise featured in numerous international documentaries on globally on the BBC, as well as History and Discovery Channels. As the resident geophysicist on The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, he brings cutting-edge scientific methods to one of the world's most enigmatic research sites-- merging technology, exploration, and curiosity in the pursuit of the unexplained.
