Ground Penetrating Radar Discoveries / Ancient Stone Circles

About the show

In the first half, geophysicist and explorer Dr. Jan Francke joined George Noory to discuss the use of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) in uncovering ancient mysteries. He described GPR as a century-old technology that has evolved significantly, now capable of producing detailed three-dimensional images of subsurface structures. Noting the limitations of GPR, he stated it cannot penetrate beyond 100 to 200 feet underground, but stressed that within this range, the technology reveals remarkable archaeological details, such as entire building plans from ancient civilizations. However, he dismissed recent sensational claims about undiscovered pyramidal complexes detected by satellite radar as lacking scientific foundation.

Francke also touched on the broader implications of subsurface exploration, pointing out that while humanity has explored horizontally —across oceans and deserts— much history lies beneath our feet, waiting to be uncovered. He mentioned his work at notable sites like the Great Pyramids, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Oak Island, and Skinwalker Ranch, describing each as a "challenge" that continues to surprise him. At Egypt's Great Pyramid, he reported puzzling radar evidence of tunnels near the King's Chamber that challenge traditional assumptions. "Just because there's a sarcophagus there doesn't mean that's the King's Chamber. It could have been simply a decoy," he explained. He also detailed unexplained electromagnetic phenomena in the Queen's Chamber shafts but withheld details pending further research.

In Saudi Arabia, he has searched for lost cities buried under shifting sands. Regarding paranormal sites like Utah's Skinwalker Ranch, he described radar-detected anomalies that defy explanation. "We were triggering some sort of phenomenology... the radar was picking up something passing directly overhead," but the camera crew couldn't see anything, he recounted. Francke also announced that portable radar units are being developed for extra-planetary exploration, including mapping lunar lava tubes for future human habitation.

In the latter half, author, scientist, and explorer Michael Tellinger shared his groundbreaking insights and research into the ancient stone circles scattered across southern Africa. He described these as the largest concentration of stone ruins on Earth, numbering approximately 10 million and dating back over 300,000 years. Challenging conventional archaeological interpretations, he noted that the original stone circles lack doors or entrances, suggesting they were not built for habitation or livestock. Instead, his research uncovered that these structures functioned as advanced energy-generating devices.

Tellinger said they measured sound frequencies, magnetic fields, and electromagnetic fields emanating from the walls of the stone circles. The stones' acoustic properties conduct sound frequencies originating from the Earth's natural Schumann resonance, producing magnetic and electromagnetic fields, he suggested, implying that the circles harnessed continuous free energy from the planet itself. The significance of southern Africa, particularly Zimbabwe and South Africa, ties into ancient texts referencing the Anunnaki and their quest for gold, which aligns with the region's mineral wealth.

He also shared a compelling account of a past-life regression where a man, under hypnosis and with no prior knowledge, described building these stone circles, reinforcing the mystery surrounding their creators. Regarding construction, Tellinger proposed that the stones, relatively small compared to other megalithic sites, may have been moved into place by amplifying the Earth's frequencies, allowing them to assume a specific pattern. In another curious finding, he reported that people who spend time near the stone circles experience healing and improved health.
