David B. Williams is a geologist who seeks out the natural world in urban landscapes. He is the author of 2 books and has written several articles for publications such as Smithsonian, Earth, and American History. He currently works as the education assistant at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture on the campus of the University of Washington, in Seattle, WA.
