  • About the show

Ian Punnett welcomed award-winning journalist Jim Marrs, who discussed the North American Union and how governmental efforts like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) are moving us closer to the creation of a collective governing body for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Marrs shared how the US government is working secretly through various legislative loopholes to pave the way for Mexican trucking to come into the country. Marrs talked about the CANAMEX Super Highway, which he believes will hurt the US economy by allowing Mexico (and through them the rest of the world) to cheaply and quickly get their products here. According to Marrs, former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, and Texas Governor Rick Perry are supporters of the Trans-Texas Corridor.

Marrs also provided updates on several 9/11 conspiracy theories, including his hypothesis about how a Nazi intelligence agency ultimately helped to create Al Qaeda.

    Web 2.0

In the first hour, Internet critic Andrew Keen discussed the destructive cultural, economic and ethical consequences of the Web 2.0 revolution.
