Intuition & Synchronicity

About the show

In the middle two hours, counselor, educator, and healer Colette Baron-Reid discussed shared consciousness, synchronicity, and the scientific underpinnings of intuition. She described experiencing "retro cognition," knowing details of the past and the deceased, from an early age.

Baron-Reid classified intuition as a natural phenomenon that can be used to help empower people. Those in certain professions such as the healing arts, tend to more readily tap into intuition, she added. Success in life (viewed in a non-material way) is derived from being at peace with all that is, and being present in the now, she noted.

She stressed the importance of allowing the mind to be quiet, which can be done with a repeated mantra or affirmation, as well as breathing exercises. To further develop intuition, watch for the signs and keep a journal, she said.

The last hour of the show featured Open Lines.

'Bloodline' Documentary

In the first hour, author Lionel Fanthorpe and filmmaker Bruce Burgess discussed the controversial new documentary Bloodline, which explores evidence for the idea that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married, moved to France, and had a child.
