Privacy expert Lauren Weinstein joined Ian Punnett to provide an update on how the government is secretly using GPS devices to track people without search warrants.

In the first half-hour, Wired reporter Kim Zetter commented on news that two federal GPS trackers have been found on an SUV in California.

Ian's Announcement

Ian announced that he would be stepping away from his weekly hosting duties starting in January 2012 to seek treatment for tinnitus and hearing loss. Ian will continue his Coast presence on the second Sunday of every month. John B. Wells (email) will take over hosting duties on Saturday nights.
