The ET Abduction Experience / Open Lines

About the show

For the first three hours, guest host Rich Berra spoke with Travis Walton about his ET abduction experience that was depicted in the movie Fire in the Sky. In 1975, while working as a firefighter in Arizona, he and his crew spotted a "soft glow" through the trees, which they initially thought was a campfire. However, upon reaching the clearing they were confronted by a stunning sight. "It was two metallic discs... like two pie pans, put lip to lip, hovering there," he explained.

Walton recalled the craft being about 50 yards away and less than 15 feet above the ground. "There's no mistaking what we were seeing," he stated. Despite his crew's frantic warnings to retreat, Walton felt compelled to approach the craft, thinking it might take off before he got too close.

As he got nearer, he experienced an overwhelming electrical shock that caused him to black out. Walton described it as "a gigantic spark... jumping from it through me." He then recounted the surreal moment he woke up aboard an alien craft, initially mistaking his captors for doctors. "I just started screaming and flailing… were they going to attack me?" he recalled, describing the small, hairless beings with large eyes that he encountered.

Then, a human-like figure dressed in blue entered the room. Despite Walton's frantic questions, the figure did not respond, which only heightened his fear. "I felt mortally wounded... maybe this is a rescue," he recounted, describing how he was led through a dimly lit corridor filled with other disc-shaped crafts.

The last hour of the show featured Open Lines, where listeners call in to discuss topics of interest. Steve from Albany, NY shared a vivid experience from 1969 where he claimed to have astral projected and encountered Greys. He described their physical features and how he communicated telepathically with them, asking how their technology works. Steve believes they are not living beings but rather androids that gather information to download into human minds. He also mentioned that he has been designing spacecraft based on insights he received during this experience.

Mike from Alaska recounted his experiences with wildfires in California, particularly the Malibu fire, and expressed concerns about the current fires in LA. He emphasized the need for architects and engineers due to the extensive damage. Mike also criticized the slow response of firefighting resources and predicted long-term consequences for the area, including potential impacts on upcoming major events like the Olympics.

Cory from Palm Springs asked about the "galactic treaty" and referenced a historical event in 1954 where extraterrestrial beings allegedly met with humans. He mentioned an underground theater in Palm Springs tied to this narrative, since it served as a hidden venue for entertainment during that time. He concluded by expressing concern for those affected by the fires in LA, echoing Mike's sentiments.
