Hat Man & Shadow People / Holistic Healing

About the show

In the first half, guest host Rich Berra (email) welcomed paranormal researcher Heidi Hollis to discuss her experiences with the Hat Man and Shadow People phenomena. She began by sharing her experiences with synesthesia and being a rare "machine empath," able to sense and interact emotionally with machines. This exploration into synesthesia connected to her lifelong paranormal encounters, including an early experience involving a haunted organ that played by itself. Hollis recounted growing up in a house plagued by strange occurrences, such as unexplainable noises and a black bird-like entity with glowing red eyes—her earliest exposure to what she later identified as Shadow People.

Hollis explained that the paranormal activity did not stop after her family moved; instead, it changed form. She and her sisters experienced recurring, terrifying dreams of their deceased mother with black eyes, attempting to harm them—dreams so vivid they each appeared in the others' experiences. In the new house, Hollis recalled having out-of-body experiences, including waking up on the ceiling and feeling the texture of the drywall. She distinguished these events from sleep paralysis, which she considers a medical condition, unlike the global and uniform sightings of Shadow Beings. She described Shadow People as interdimensional entities that were never human, able to infiltrate thoughts, moods, and even destinies. She linked them to a darker force known as the Hat Man.

According to Hollis, the Hat Man is a powerful, malicious being who commands the Shadow People. She described him as an embodiment of darkness, capable of inciting hatred and spiritual manipulation. Unlike Shadow People who avoid detection, the Hat Man wants to be seen and often targets children, whom he marks for future attention. Hollis revealed that she coined the term "Hat Man" and trademarked it along with "Shadow People" after discovering her descriptions aligned with countless global experiences. She emphasized that her knowledge came from a direct encounter with an interdimensional alien being during college. This being provided insights into these entities and warned her of their increasing presence as humanity evolves, aiming to disrupt spiritual growth and trap souls.

During the latter half of the program, Dr. Philip Oubre, a board-certified family physician specializing in functional medicine, revealed the shortcomings of traditional medical approaches that rely heavily on prescription medications to treat symptoms rather than identifying root causes. He shared that most of his patients have seen at least 10 other doctors without resolution, largely due to conventional medicine's failure to recognize underlying causes of chronic conditions. Functional medicine, as practiced at his clinic, focuses on reversing disease by uncovering its origins through advanced diagnostics and personalized strategies. Dr. Oubre became a proponent after personally discovering that many conditions once considered irreversible—such as dementia, autoimmune disorders, and joint pain—could be reversed by targeting root causes like inflammation and toxin exposure.

Dr. Oubre emphasized the role of inflammation and how diet, particularly sugar and processed foods, fuels it. He advocated for high-fat, low-carb diets and criticized outdated "low fat" nutritional advice, explaining that fat—not carbohydrates—is essential for health and weight control. He also identified seven root causes of chronic disease, including gut dysfunction, emotional stress, biological toxins, mold exposure, environmental chemicals, and heavy metals. Mold toxicity, in particular, plays a major role in conditions like insomnia, anxiety, high blood pressure, and even dementia, he noted. Dr. Oubre pointed out that proper nutrition, detoxification, and advanced testing can reveal these hidden contributors to illness.

Dr. Oubre also addressed real-life scenarios and answered listener calls, highlighting the importance of individualized care. He discussed how THC cream effectively reduces inflammation, how cortisone shots can worsen joint conditions, and how cold plunges, stem cell therapy, and peptide treatments can support healing. He called out the overprescription of statins, arguing they are overused based on misleading statistics and fail to reverse plaque buildup—something he claims to have achieved through functional approaches. Dr. Oubre urged listeners to question medical norms, get comprehensive lab testing, and consider the possibility of reversing conditions once thought permanent by identifying and eliminating their root causes.
