Following a successful career in the entertainment industry, John Newton now works in the healing arts. In the first half, he joined Lisa Garr (email) to share how to engage in inner work and ancestral healing to foster healing and transformation. Unconscious beliefs inherited from our ancestors can significantly limit our experiences, he said, emphasizing the significance of looking beyond our mental constructs to confront deeper issues. He also connected ancestral baggage and mental patterns to addiction and chronic pain, and addressed the "two bookends" of addiction: the initial craving and the subsequent shame or regret. "When we handle both of those bookends, it's like, boom, it doesn't have to be so much work," he explained.
He highlighted the need to tackle unresolved emotional burdens, stating, "We want to get to the core of things." Newton elaborated on the idea of "triangulating" one's burdens with the inclusion of the idea of a higher consciousness, explaining, "When we're just mind only, we're missing that third point." He also discussed the role of forgiveness in healing, mentioning a "forgiveness recipe" he learned and its impact on thousands of individuals. "I've literally used these peacemaking prayers," and there have been subsequent testimonies of tumors evaporating, people coming out of coma, and vision improving," he reported, underscoring the power of collective energy work. During the second hour, Newtown provided live clearings for callers hampered by a specific issue in their lives.

In the latter half, Christy Whitman, a transformational leader for the past 25 years, talked about mastering your energy, and wisdom she has gleaned from channeling the "Quantum Council of Light." Mastering one's energetic flow is highly beneficial for navigating life's inevitable contrasts and disappointments, she stated, adding that "when we understand that these things happen, whether we want them or not... we can focus back on what we only have control over, and that's our energetic flow." Whitman shared her journey of connecting with the Council, recalling how it began during a meditation. "The information I was getting was so clear, and it was beautiful guidance, and that's how I knew it wasn't me," she revealed. Over the years, she has channeled various guides, including "Ascended Masters," and believes everyone has the ability to connect with their own guides.
Touching on the importance of self-compassion, she noted that "you cannot give away compassion if you are truly not feeling it within yourself," pointing out the necessity of self-love as a precursor to extending compassion to others. Whitman introduced the concept of the "faith portal," which she described as our ability to focus on desires and positive outcomes, rather than fears. "We can't control what anyone else does… but we do have control over our own focus," she reiterated. During the last hour, Whitman channeled the Council, answering questions and encouraging listeners to focus inward, asserting that true control lies within one's own thoughts and emotions.
