George Noory was joined by author and spiritual guide Kaedrich Olsen, who shared his insights on the hidden dark forces that surround us. Olsen revealed that he was raised in a haunted house and exposed from birth to spiritualism through family and community involvement. His experiences taught him that spirit possession occurs when entities enter a person's energy field subtly, influencing their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. These influences, although initially subtle, can lead individuals down destructive paths unless they are properly understood and addressed, he explained. Olsen pointed out that possessions are not always negative; spirits like guides or loved ones may intervene positively to redirect someone from self-destructive behaviors. He provided an example of a young person guided away from drug abuse.
Everyone is regularly influenced by spiritual entities without realizing it, Olsen continued, emphasizing the importance of understanding and discerning one's genuine thoughts and feelings from external influences. He clarified that these influences can involve multiple entities simultaneously and typically occur because spirits are seeking familiar comforts or fulfilling unresolved desires, such as cravings or fears. He advocated for direct communication with spirits, noting respectful engagement rather than confrontation or exorcism, which he views skeptically. According to Olsen, exorcisms and deliverance ministries often misinterpret trauma responses as demonic possessions, thereby exacerbating underlying psychological issues rather than solving them.
Olsen also stressed the powerful role of belief systems in both creating and sustaining entities or perceived possessions. He argued that negative beliefs and fear-based religious teachings often amplify spiritual distress by encouraging people to surrender their agency, inadvertently empowering negative entities. Olsen believes no entity is inherently evil but rather distorted forms of source energy arising from trauma or misunderstanding. He encouraged listeners to reclaim personal power, maintain spiritual hygiene, and engage in self-reflection and boundary-setting as the most effective methods to overcome unwanted spiritual influences.

Open Lines followed in the latter half of the program. James from Indiana expressed his appreciation for Coast to Coast, recalling listening since Art Bell's era. He shared a personal experience involving his mother, who died in 1999 at age 56, noting that after her passing, he began repeatedly seeing the numbers "2247"—the last digits of her landline, also matching his tax return amount—interpreting it as her continued communication. He admitted that he still cries daily, though these tears are ones of happiness.
Will from New York City recounted a personal connection to caller James' repeated number "2247," noting that it matches a former Los Angeles address of his. Will also discussed tariffs, referencing Warren Buffett's cautious criticism of their aggressive use, and highlighting the Oracle of Omaha's view that heavy tariffs can be economically disruptive and perceived internationally as akin to acts of war..
Ruth from Maryland shared that St. Mary's County, Maryland, has the oldest sheriff's department in the United States, established in 1637, and actively encourages interested candidates to apply. She also defended the validity of dowsing, recounting her own experiences learning from a professional dowser from Wales who introduced her to dowsing rods for finding objects and even detecting a portal in her home. Ruth emphasized that dowsing is a real and skilled practice still used today by farmers and residents in her region.
The final half hour featured a replay of Douglas Preston recounting some of the strangest places he has explored.
